“Palestine Uprooted: Nakba Past and Present” launched Canadian Museum for Human Rights. It is long overdue for the experiences of Palestinian Canadians to be recognized in one of Canada's national human rights institutions. These stories are part of Canada's story too, & they deserve to be heard.

Utterly devastating to hear the victim’s words read out by an ⁦NCCM⁩ spokesperson. My heart goes out to her & to her family. Every Muslim woman who wears hijab will once again be looking over their shoulder, praying they won’t be targeted. This situation is unacceptable.
