Sachin vs Andrew Caddick in WC 2003! ❤️ "Oh.. He’s hit that for a Six. Oh! it’s a biggie. It’s out of the ground. Sachin Tendulkar has popped Caddick out of Kingsmead. It’s in the car park. What a shot!" This is one of the favourites! Close to heart!

It was shots like those that made many of us fall in love with cricket! He was not just a player, he was a golden dream that the game of cricket saw and it lasted for 24 long years. He conquered just about everything and gave all the cricket fans so many moments to cherish, to feel proud of, to rejoice. He was the hope for an ordinary Indian man in the 90s and that line "when Sachin walked out to bat, people switched on their TV sets and switched off their lives" sums up the amount of impact he had. He was, he is and he will always be an emotion!! ❤️🙏

A quiet ending to a film that spoke louder than most. 🎬❤️ Few endings leave you thinking long after the screen goes dark.

Champions Trophy 2002 semifinal. India posted 261/9 and in response, South Africa were cruising at 194/1 courtesy brilliant hundred by Gibbs (116) who got retired hurt and Kallis (97). It looked all but over for India. And then came the moment of the match. Jonty Rhodes attempted to sweep a delivery from Harbhajan Singh but ended up getting a top-edge. Yuvraj Singh sprinted backward and dived full length to his wrong side, plucking the ball out of thin air with a stunning one-handed grab just inches off the turf. Rhodes being the greatest fielder himself, must have loved the catch silently. The dismissal of Rhodes broke South Africa’s momentum completely. Panic set in through the batting lineup as a massive collapse ensued. India won the game by 10 runs and entered the finals. Yuvraj’s brilliance in the field snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, proving to be the literal turning point of the entire knockout match. Jonty Rhodes Harbhajan Turbanator Yuvraj Singh

POV: You just watched a Number 10 batsman ruin your afternoon Coming in at #10 with Zimbabwe needing 65 off 34, he unleashed his signature "Marillier shot" (the precursor to Dil-scoop or ABD ramp) against Zak. Couldn't believe but couldn't hate either!

Absolutely unnecessary from Murali Kartik to comment on Sanjay Manjrekar's pout and then of course the response was in equal proportions. The last thing we want to see during the cricket match is commentators fighting over each other's looks and mannerisms. Shameful!

Absolute masterclass from the great Wasim Akram! To Dravid, the first ball comes in and then the one that leaves takes the edge. To Laxman, the first one moves away and the next swings in and hits him on the full to trap plumb in front.

You never know what destiny has in store for you! Remember this guy who is smoking McGrath and Warne for fun? Ben Hollioake. England's 4th youngest test player. He made his ODI debut at the age of 19 and stroked a sumptuous 63 off 48 balls against Australia at Lord's (1997). In an extremely unfortunate event, he died on March 23, 2002, at age 24 in a car crash in Perth, Western Australia. The English cricketer was killed instantly when his Porsche 924 crashed into a wall on an exit ramp of the Kwinana Freeway.
