Our movement has failed to communicate to many younger Jews — including some rabbis — that Zionism is integral to Judaism. An anti-Zionist rabbi is a contradiction in terms. That’s why I was in Israel last week with 24 other Reform rabbis. I am determined to make a difference.

What's the big deal? NYC's mayor has little influence on foreign policy. If Zohran Kwame Mamdani pursues anti-Zionism as a central policy objective, appoints anti-Zionists to oversee NYC's public schools, uses his platform to delegitimize Israel... it will put all Jews in danger.
