U.S. Senator from Minnesota. Candidate for Governor.

Minnesota needs a governor who puts Minnesota first. Unlike my opponent, I’m not Donald Trump’s choice. I’m not Mike Lindell’s choice. I’m not the choice of a billionaire from Wisconsin. And I am not the chief author of a bill that would ban abortion and send doctors to jail. I’ll be Minnesota’s choice. And Minnesota is who I’ll govern for.

Lisa Demuth doesn’t want to talk about it, but it matters: she was the lead author of a bill to ban abortion – with no exceptions for rape or incest – and to put doctors in jail. And earlier this year, she said she supports overturning the court case protecting abortion in Minnesota. As Governor, I will protect a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions in Minnesota.

My opponent blamed high gas prices on the Keystone pipeline and rising health care costs on Barack Obama — who will she blame next, Thomas Jefferson? Minnesotans know: gas prices, health premiums, and costs are going up because of Donald Trump's war and policies like his health care cuts.

Master Sgt. Nicole Amor of White Bear Lake was killed in Kuwait. Her husband, Joey — who I have gotten to know well in the worst of circumstances and have worked with him to push for answers — asked JD Vance how this administration will hold leaders accountable for the failures that led up to it. Vance said it was “literally the first time I’ve heard of this.” Our servicemembers and their families deserve better. Joey and the families of all those who were lost that day deserve answers. They WILL get them.

You can’t start a new business or save for retirement if your rent is eating up your paycheck. Out-of-state corporate landlords are using algorithms to fix prices, inflating rents across the country. As Senator, I introduced the bill to take on this price fixing, and as Governor, I’ll get it done.

On Day One, I will order a top-to-bottom audit of state government. I will bring my prosecutor's background to the governor’s office to root out the fraud, modernize outdated technology to stop fraud before it starts, and strengthen criminal penalties to hold these criminals accountable and send them to jail.

“I have maybe two months' worth left in my warehouse in Minnesota, and when that's gone, I have no more revenue.” Hear from Minnesota Small Business Person of the Year, Beth Benike, about the impacts of President Trump’s tariff taxes on her small business, Busy Baby.

The only person who needed “rehabilitation” in today's hearing was my colleague who didn’t know the difference between the Hawks and the Hawkeyes. Don't try to distract the American people from rising costs and people losing their health care, especially if you don't have your facts straight.

With your vote, Ben Schierer will be the first person from CD7 elected statewide in 90 years. He grew up in Fergus Falls, where his parents started their hardware store. As mayor, he took a downtown with an overgrown parking lot and empty storefronts and, working with local businesses, helped turn it into a place people want to visit. Now he’s ready to do it for the whole state, and we will do it together.

When I ran Minnesota’s largest prosecutor’s office, I did my job without fear or favor. As Governor, I’ll audit state government top-to-bottom, make sure people who commit fraud go to jail, and get rid of decades-old technology so we have the tools to stop the fraud before it happens. My opponent can attack me all she wants – I’m going to clean up this mess. Watch my new ad ⬇️
