Can’t believe it’s already over. 🥲 Goodbye Lara is such a fantastic anime. I’m so honored to be a part of it as Mari. Looking back, there’s so much to take from Sayolara, and I’ll probably post videos sharing my thoughts in more detail. All in all, I’m so proud of everyone involved! To our director Gavin Harrison, our producer Liam, our engineers Jordan & Paolo, our amazing cast, MY fantastic Lara Brianna Knickerbocker —everyone loved this project so much and brought their best. It was an honor to work with all of you !! Fingers crossed that we get to return to Lara and Mari again. I hope you all enjoyed this journey as much as I did. ❤️🧡🤍💖🧜🏻‍♀️🥊 thanks for the clip Nickeem !! #sayolara #sayonaralara #goodbyelara #mariotsu

I know we’ve all been waiting with bated breath to see where this show is going!! I hope you’ve all enjoyed the journey so far 🙏🏾 In our sessions, my voice director Gavin and I felt that Mari’s stoic nature stemmed from grief. Lara brims vibrantly with life, so much so that Mari can’t help but want to live again. Just as she’s starting to, everything she cares about is torn away without warning, again. I think my favorite part of this episode is the way she handles it. Mari gets back up so quickly with so much determination and I really admire how much she’s grown since even the start of the series. Please look forward to the final episodes 🥰❤️🧜‍♀️

The Mermaid Mask comes out TODAY!! I voice Sinthia Seafoam. 🌊🧜🏾‍♀️ Thank you so much Detective Grimoire for having me join this mysterious tale. I remember Tangle Tower from years ago, and lil indie voice actor me always wanted to work on it. I did it! 🥹♥️

This scene was the first one I saw when I started voicing in this project and when I tell you I was MESMERIZED!!! I turned to our director Gavin Harrison and said, “Whoa.” so cool to see it all in context fully dubbed by our amazing cast!!

I loved recording this scene as Mari. There’s so much that’s said without words in Goodbye Lara, and the way it captures the mundane really captivates. ♥️

ep 3 of Goodbye Lara is out! we know the classic tale of the little mermaid, but now we finally learn mari’s backstory! she gets her coolness from her mom 🙂‍↕️ i got to voice young mari as well—this scene really reminded me of the car scene in spirited away. daveigh chase, the English voice of Chihiro, unfortunately passed away before we recorded this episode, so I took the opportunity to channel her performance as chihiro for this part. ✨ mari’s mother is voiced by Tara Jayne Sands and our amazing director Gavin Harrison steered the ship as always!
