For the first time in 13 days, Alexis walked today with home health. She didn’t miss a beat, since her last time walking. She’ll have PT every day this week, as we get ready to head home on Sunday. Please continue to pray for healing & strength for Alexis and the family 🙏🏾

2 weeks ago, we were proud of a 2 minute stand. Today, Alexis walked back and forth 8 times in the parallel bars and walked alongside the wall rail. I’ve prayed for a big week, and I know God is going to deliver. Please continue to pray for strength and healing of the myoclonus🙏🏾

Alexis has had a phenomenal week at therapy. On Monday, she walked 300ft with a walker, a personal best to date. Today, she walked around without a walker! I’m so proud of her and her strength & resilience! Please continue to pray for strength and healing 🙏🏾💪🏾

Alexis had another amazing day today during physical therapy. She walked the entire tennis court with a small break at the halfway point. Tomorrow her goal is to walk the entire court with no breaks. Please continue to pray for strength & healing 🙏🏾

Tomorrow marks one month since we returned home. Alexis has continued to improve thanks to the help from the staff at Tidelands Neuro Rehab. Today, she also graduated from speech therapy so she’ll only have physical & occupational therapy. I’m so proud 👏🏾 Please continue to 🙏🏾

Tonight, after the Christmas tree made a mess when putting it away, Alexis got the courage to try to vacuum. As I held her gait belt, she was able to do it! For some this is a chore, for us it’s progress. We’re looking for even more in 2025 🙏🏾💪🏾 *Video has been sped up 2X

Today, Alexis and I did our best at doing our 1st OT & PT from home. She lifted weights, walked with her rollator, and walked back and forth in the garage without assistance grabbing items from a chair to bring to the other side. Please continue to pray for strength & healing 🙏🏾

A huge day for Alexis! After a year of not being able to wear her contacts, she was able to finally get them in. She also continued to work on her walking, and was able to walk unassisted in various exercises! I couldn’t be more proud 🥹 I think this girl is ready for Vegas!

Alexis has made tremendous strides in her walking progress lately, gaining the confidence to walk independently at times. Today, she successfully walked on a treadmill for the first time in over 2 years, achieving three 5-minute intervals and covering nearly a quarter mile 👏🏾🙏🏾
