Premier David Eby asked British Columbians NOT to travel to the USA 🇺🇸. Meanwhile these US-headquartered cruise lines operate out of the Vancouver Cruise Terminal — steps from his office: 🚢 Princess Cruises 🚢Holland America Line 🚢Royal Caribbean 🚢Norwegian Cruise Line 🚢Disney Cruise Line The American cruise ship business is breaking record numbers for BC's economy this season: 1.4M passengers, ~360 ship calls, $1B+ economic impact. 17,000+ jobs nationally, ~$3M spent locally per call. Makes you wonder if the Premier has thought about the impact there would be the local economy if these cruise ships were to stop travelling to British Columbia. The Port of Seattle isn't far away.
