I know this is controversial, but I don’t think the Jaylen Brown/Jayson Tatum chemistry was salvageable. Jaylen was incredible in the 2024 Finals. He deserved real credit. But when you go back through the tape, Tatum was the one constantly attracting the defense, creating advantages, and making the game easier for on his teammates. Jaylen got the trophy, but Tatum was the engine of both ends of the floor that allowed it to be possible. #NBA #Celtics #JaylenBrown #JaysonTatum #NBAFinals

Caleb Wilson has a LOT tools and a high ceiling. That said, he is raw and needs refinement on both ends of the ball. Good thing he is only 19!! This feels owed, but also requested. -Morez leading with his shoulder for some get back -Trey pulling Scott by the arm to the ground -Tschet pulling Coop jersey on the lob -Tschet with an egregious jump into Scott taking away his landing area, which was probably the worst call of the game

This is just two free throws, right? What about in a packed building of 70,000 with the National Championship on the line and 18 million tuned in? What about with no one else lined up and all eyes on him? How about to tie the game and never give the lead back? ... and don't forget to add in the fact he’s 6'9", 250 pounds of pure muscle. This is what I like to call “zenned-out”. He gets a feel for the ball in his hands first. Then closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Last comes the arm shake, just to get one last sense of his body moving through that shooting arm. UConn never led again. 8/11 in the Elite Eight, 4/4 in the Final Four, and 2/2 in the title game.

Imagine if Maleek went to a school without a featured lottery pick like Acuff. He might have put up the numbers to be a late lottery pick himself. They played well off eachother, but Acuff was, rightfully so, the featured guy. Late first or early second feels way too low for a young guard who can shoot and make difficult shots like this off the catch, off the dribble, and every kind of steps and gather. love this homerun play call by Gard. You can't just "not lose" against a team like Michigan. You gotta go out there and WIN for 40 minutes. He knew he had a guy in Carrington that could go up there and get any 50/50 ball and he trusted it. Now, missing the front end of the 1/1 isn't discussed in the huddle😂
