This is just two free throws, right? What about in a packed building of 70,000 with the National Championship on the line and 18 million tuned in? What about with no one else lined up and all eyes on him? How about to tie the game and never give the lead back? ... and don't forget to add in the fact he’s 6'9", 250 pounds of pure muscle. This is what I like to call “zenned-out”. He gets a feel for the ball in his hands first. Then closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Last comes the arm shake, just to get one last sense of his body moving through that shooting arm. UConn never led again. 8/11 in the Elite Eight, 4/4 in the Final Four, and 2/2 in the title game.

This feels owed, but also requested. -Morez leading with his shoulder for some get back -Trey pulling Scott by the arm to the ground -Tschet pulling Coop jersey on the lob -Tschet with an egregious jump into Scott taking away his landing area, which was probably the worst call of the game

You can make millions off defense alone. Ausar just proved it. When his contract is up for the 27-28 season he is going to get PAID because of series like this one. The twin just gave one of the best defensive playoff performances I can remember. #ausarthompson #detroitpistons

love this homerun play call by Gard. You can't just "not lose" against a team like Michigan. You gotta go out there and WIN for 40 minutes. He knew he had a guy in Carrington that could go up there and get any 50/50 ball and he trusted it. Now, missing the front end of the 1/1 isn't discussed in the huddle😂

The beauty is in the details with this one!! What a great matchup and both of these teams are going to be a PROBLEM in March.
