The shooting is still the question. Everything else is getting impossible to question. I get it… they aren’t Klay from beyond the arc. But they do a hell of a lot everywhere else. Amen and Ausar are already making those offseason contracts look justified. Their teams are 5-0 through the twins’ first five games, and both are making game-altering plays defensively while creating plenty with the ball too. #rockets #pistons #nba #basketballanalysis

I know this is controversial, but I don’t think the Jaylen Brown/Jayson Tatum chemistry was salvageable. Jaylen was incredible in the 2024 Finals. He deserved real credit. But when you go back through the tape, Tatum was the one constantly attracting the defense, creating advantages, and making the game easier for on his teammates. Jaylen got the trophy, but Tatum was the engine of both ends of the floor that allowed it to be possible. #NBA #Celtics #JaylenBrown #JaysonTatum #NBAFinals

Most unguardable single move in NBA history. Kareem's Sky Hook, Hakeem's Dream Shake, Dirk's One Legged Fader all come to mind, but give me the dropstep for the surest bucket ever in the sport. These are all clips from the games with the highest stakes possible and he is still out there "dominating" like we all say, but doing some things I don't think of when we use that word for his game as well. #Shaq #ShaquilleONeal #Lakers #NBA #basketball SHAQ

This feels owed, but also requested. -Morez leading with his shoulder for some get back -Trey pulling Scott by the arm to the ground -Tschet pulling Coop jersey on the lob -Tschet with an egregious jump into Scott taking away his landing area, which was probably the worst call of the game

Caleb Wilson has a LOT tools and a high ceiling. That said, he is raw and needs refinement on both ends of the ball. Good thing he is only 19!! Please stay long enough to know I am NOT down on him, but there is a learning curve that I am confident he will speed through. The highlights speak volumes, but the lowlights do as well!! What a draft!! #calebwilson #nbadraft #basketballanalysis #basketball #tarheels

This is just two free throws, right? What about in a packed building of 70,000 with the National Championship on the line and 18 million tuned in? What about with no one else lined up and all eyes on him? How about to tie the game and never give the lead back? ... and don't forget to add in the fact he’s 6'9", 250 pounds of pure muscle. This is what I like to call “zenned-out”. He gets a feel for the ball in his hands first. Then closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Last comes the arm shake, just to get one last sense of his body moving through that shooting arm. UConn never led again. 8/11 in the Elite Eight, 4/4 in the Final Four, and 2/2 in the title game.

Cleveland is making this too easy for the Knicks. This is just a few of the big reasons why. They are missing lobs, missing mismatches, and getting too dribble-happy when the simple answer is right there. If they do not get back to trusting the bigs and the short roll, this series is going to be short. #cavs #cavaliers #nbaplayoffs #nba #knicks

love this homerun play call by Gard. You can't just "not lose" against a team like Michigan. You gotta go out there and WIN for 40 minutes. He knew he had a guy in Carrington that could go up there and get any 50/50 ball and he trusted it. Now, missing the front end of the 1/1 isn't discussed in the huddle😂

Imagine if Maleek went to a school without a featured lottery pick like Acuff. He might have put up the numbers to be a late lottery pick himself. They played well off eachother, but Acuff was, rightfully so, the featured guy. Late first or early second feels way too low for a young guard who can shoot and make difficult shots like this off the catch, off the dribble, and every kind of steps and gather. He also isn't a slouch in other areas. That is so important in the league of the best players in the world!! #maleekthomas #nbadraft #basketballanalysis #basketball #arkansas

Game 3 changed everything for Jalen Duren 👀 With Duren’s next contract hanging over all of it, these possessions got expensive. Like 10's or even 100's of M's expensive. The shots not falling can happen to the best. The frustration and the little mistakes just kept adding up. #JalenDuren #DetroitPistons #NBA #Basketball

Daniss Jenkins started this year in the G League. Now he is earning playoff minutes by doing the exact things that win games: extra effort, confidence, and understanding how to fill a role without forcing anything. This is how guys get PAID millions of dollars to play hoops. #detroitpistons #pistons #nbaplayoffs #nba

The beauty is in the details with this one!! What a great matchup and both of these teams are going to be a PROBLEM in March. If this didn't feel like a Final Four matchup in the regular season, I don't know what possibly could. ... and NO this buzz was NOT by choice. Never going back there!! but I am rockin an appropriate cut for March Madness 😂 #michiganbasketball #dukebasketball #collegebasketball

You can make millions off defense alone. Ausar just proved it. When his contract is up for the 27-28 season he is going to get PAID because of series like this one. The twin just gave one of the best defensive playoff performances I can remember. #ausarthompson #detroitpistons
