Yesterday it cost me nearly $100 to fill up my tank. Thats ridiculous. Minnesotans can’t afford to keep footing the bill for Donald Trump’s senseless war and tariffs.

Followed Tom Emmer’s advice to “take a walk” this weekend.

If Trump and ICE Barbie think they can keep me from doing MY JOB to conduct oversight at federal detention centers like the one I was denied full access to today — they couldn’t be more wrong.

Yesterday’s shooting at Brown University has left my family heartbroken. Enough has been enough for too long in our nation. It’s time to address gun violence in our country.

This afternoon, I filed to run in the August 11 Democratic primary for United States Senate and I will forgo the DFL state convention this weekend. I'm running because I'm ready for this fight — now let’s go win it!

I’ve learned that listening to people goes a long way. We must fight this administration’s terrible policies with one fist closed. And have the other hand extended to bring folks back to the Democratic Party.

Commonsense gun safety legislation is long overdue in Minnesota. Proud of the MN House DFLers who are holding the floor to get it done — it’s time for a vote.

Our immigrant neighbors are not receiving proper medical care while detained. This administration is putting real lives at risk and Minnesotans will not turn a blind eye.

Trump’s hand-picked candidate just jumped in the race for US Senate. Minnesota needs a Senator who will stand up and fight for our state – and we know it won’t be MAGA Michele.

Republicans are eager to exploit Peggy Flanagan's record of not showing up to work. Minnesotans deserve a Senator with a history of results — not one who plays hooky on the taxpayers’ dime.

I’ve made it clear that I’m ready for a real debate. And if the Lt. Governor isn’t – she’s not ready to be a U.S. Senator either.

Folks, this is the moment to get in the fight for our democracy. I will always stand up for Minnesota, and I hope you’ll be by my side.

Last weekend, Minnesotans showed up, got loud and made one thing clear: America has no kings.

Supporting the Lynx means more than just cheering from the stands – it means standing in solidarity with the players who make the team great. So today, I joined the Minnesota AFL-CIO and WNBPA to call on the league to do the right thing and pay their players fairly.

This administration doesn’t care about our country’s laws or due process. I’m showing up, fighting back, and standing up for Minnesotans with everything I’ve got.

I started my way to El Paso this afternoon to meet with my constituent Andrea in an ICE detention center tomorrow morning. She has still not received the potentially life-saving care doctors here in Minnesota say she needs.
