We must remember that Kashmir’s identity cannot be defined by the events of merely the past few decades. Our history is far older, far deeper, and far richer than that. We must also remember that this is not the Kashmir of 1990; this is the Kashmir of 2026. This is the Kashmir of Kashyap, the Kashmir of Nund Rishi, the Kashmir of Lal Ded, and the Kashmir of Habba Khatoon. And if we aspire to leave behind a peaceful and harmonious Kashmir for our children, we must begin by understanding one another today. Because the generations that come after us will not ask us what our religion was. They will ask us what we did for our society, what we did to reduce hatred, what we did to preserve peace, and ultimately, what kind of Kashmir we left behind for them. #InterfaithDialogue

The reservation policy plays a crucial role in promoting inclusivity and uplifting socially and economically disadvantaged sections of society. However, we must not overlook the open merit category, many of whom come from lower middle-class backgrounds and face similar struggles. I request Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to address this issue and devise a fair and inclusive approach for all students and aspirants.

It’s shocking how every time there’s an emergency, airlines hike their ticket prices. We saw it during the Pahalgam attack, and now again with the floods in Jammu and Kashmir fares have gone sky-high. And the excuse of “operational costs” just doesn’t hold ground. This isn’t about costs, this is about business greed. Instead of helping people in crisis, airlines are cashing in on their helplessness.
