There's so many different ways to "experience" Star Wars, and movies will always be its first and biggest home. But I love when games get to embrace their medium and push the story/spectacle to new heights

Such a great scene. The Jedi games do a lot of "quiet storytelling" that trusts the player to know and understand these characters. Plus the performance from Cameron (and the cinematic animator) brings so much weight to Cal's unspoken trauma

It’s a stylistic choice that takes cues from GOW, and a change from Fallen Order, but I really like it. The camera becomes “part of the crew” and allows for more dynamic blocking: in this scene, there’s a ton of intentional movement in an otherwise exposition-heavy conversation

Cal's journey is one of the most compelling Star Wars stories being told right now: one that cares about consequences and knows how to wrestle with hope despite the impossible odds. It's just the best.

Zee is so cool! She's the bridge between High Republic and present day storylines throughout the game, and one of the few people (droids) who treat Cal like a proper Jedi. Also her indignant "Credits?!" has been stuck in my head for two years
