I have immense respect for Balasaheb Thackeray When I was the Tamil Nadu BJP president one of the photographs displayed in my office was that of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Just like Murasoli in our state Shiv Sena runs a newspaper called Saamana In that newspaper they wrote that if I entered Mumbai they would cut off my leg I will enter Mumbai Do whatever you can. If I were afraid of such threats and intimidation, I would have to sit inside my house in my hometown forever Today if we call Prime Minister Narendra Modi the leader of India does that mean he stops being a Gujarati? If we call Kamaraj a great leader of India does that mean he stops being a Tamil? Similarly when we call Mumbai the capital of the world does that mean it is not a city built by Maharashtrians? Does it mean that Mumbai was not built by the hard work of Marathi brothers and sisters? All of this is a matter of pride and identity for the city These people are foolish and lack basic understanding. If Balasaheb Thackeray were alive today none of these people would have any standing They are roaming around only to damage their father’s legacy.

We can’t do smooth politics in Tamil Nadu. Politically, I’m proud to be aggressive. I get praised for being aggressive, and I’m not going to change my personality. I differ from the ADMK. They ask us to oppose NEET, but I support NEET. Right now, I’m choosing to keep my mouth shut. ADMK might say I oppose the three-language formula, but I 100% support it. If ADMK says Tamil Nadu is in a certain condition, I believe our model is better. Politics has taught me that sometimes we have to keep our mouth shut. As they expect, agreeing with the ADMK all the time is not going to be possible.
