.Islamabad Police is forcibly shutting down shops at G-11 Sunday bazar at 4 pm. When asked under whose orders this was being done, the police official initially said off camera that it was because of CM Punjab’s nearby visit, and then said on camera that it was on DC Islamabad’s orders. This weekly market is supposed to close around 7 pm. Most citizens come here after 3 pm because of the increasing heat. Citizens have literally one day to do groceries. Whether it is because of Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s arrival, or any other reason, why is the govt depriving stall owners of doing business? The video was recorded at 4.10 pm.
