This is Obi Jackson's Nestoil headquarters in Victoria Island Lagos. It had been sealed since October 2025. It was sealed at first with signages and tapes, some time early this year I started seeing Police vehicles in front of the place. I want to ask how wise it is to shutdown a blue chip company because of debt ? When we can just put a system in place that ensures activities are on and payment is made through a financial medium the company cannot hinder ? Nigeria is not ready to build, all they do is destroy. Owing is not a crime, lack of institutions that can recover debt without shutting down businesses is the crime against our Labour Market.

Amaka Marian Okeleke went for a fibroid operation in a private hospital. Two days after her discharge, she was vomiting and stooling blood. The family took her back to the hospital, after four days of no positive improvement. They demanded for "Abdominal CT Scan" Serendipitously, because you must also do EUC test. It was discovered that her kidney is failing. Meaning, if the family hadn't demanded for that test, the lady would have been suffering in ignorance and worse. They were referred to LASUTH Ikeja, Doctors were on strike. The family in a limbo and fight to save their daughter had to rush her into Duchess Hospital to avoid futher complications. It's been from one bill to the other, and dialysis cost pressure on the family. They had to pull her out of Duchess to manage her outside for a cheaper medicare. Amaka has been on a twice weekly dialysis that cost about 200 thousand naira weekly. Pending when they are able to raise N34,000,000. Thirty Four Million Naira for kidney transplant.
