GC activists can never pull off such a protest—their protests are just “Hinduism + Yogi se bair nahi, Modi ki khair nahi.” They can never leave the BJP. If they had supported the CJP protests, people would have supported them. They were too busy spreading BJP-favoured propaganda about Chinese funding, anti-India activities & labeling students as terrorists. They were saying: “Delhi Police tum lath bajao, Hum tumhare saath hain.” While the police was beating students mercilessly. Now, when the BJP’s Jaipur Police lathi-charge them, they play the victim card. They didn’t support Abhijeet Dipke simply because he was Dalit, instead of supporting him for his demands for a fair competitive examination process. It feels like most of the time, if you’re a Dalit, you’re always wrong, no matter what you do for the Nation or its people. Now I understand what kind of generational casteism SC/STs would’ve been facing. It took me time to realise, but I hope I’m not very late.
