Breaking: Police have been attacked in #Derry today during the Easter Rising Commemoration as they attempt to intervene with the Irish Republican march which was deemed illegal after permission was not granted permission from the Parades Commission. The PSNI had said in recent days they had “strong intelligence" that dissidents planned to attack officers and warned there could be street violence in Derry.

At just 5 years old, Derry girl Líle has become an unexpected symbol of hope and unity. During the Unity Against Division community rally at Guildhall Square in Derry on Wednesday, Líle stood among the crowd holding a sign that read, "All human, all equal."
