The Associated Press national football player of the week for Week 1 is Tetairoa McMillan of the Arizona Wildcats. McMillan set the school record with 304 yards receiving and tied another with four touchdown catches in 61-39 win over New Mexico.

The Associated Press national player of the week in men’s college basketball for Week 17 of the season is Miles Kelly.

The Associated Press national player of the week in football for Week 4 of the season is Alonza Barnett III of James Madison. The Dukes' quarterback had a hand in a program-record seven touchdowns in his team's 70-50 win over North Carolina.

Alabama's Jalen Milroe is AP National Player of the Week for Week 11, rushing 12 times for 185 yards and 4 TDs in a 42-13 win over LSU. His 16 rushing TDs set a school season record, surpassing Jalen Hurts.

New Mexico QB Devon Dampier is the AP National Player of the Week after 3 rushing TDs, including a game-winner, and a passing TD in a 38-35 upset over No. 19 Washington State. He totaled 367 yards in the win.

Texas Tech forward Darrion Williams is The Associated Press national men’s college basketball player of the week after a perfect shooting performance in a rout of then-No. 6 Kansas last week.

Cam Skattebo of Arizona State is the AP college football player of the week after racking up 208 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns in the Big 12 championship game.

The Associated Press national player of the week in men’s college basketball for Week 7 of the season is Johni Broome.
