That's enough for a lawful investigative detention and handcuffing while they sort it out. It turned out to be mistaken identity (no drugs, wrong guy), but the street isn't the place to litigate that. Physically resisting turned a quick ID check into chaos, broken bottles, and injuries. Comply first. Contest later. Let the system hash it out at the scene if possible, at the precinct or in court - it's safer for everyone and gives you the strongest position if there's a mistake.
