Sadly, footage of the great Mel Street is as scarce as hen’s teeth. Fortunately, I’ve found a handful that I’ll be sharing. Here is “If I Had a Cheatin’ Heart.” I remember a fella by the name of Ricky Lynn Gregg doing a version of this one in the 1990s.

Tennessee has significantly looser restrictions when it comes to selling fireworks in comparison to Virginia and North Carolina. That’s why you see so many vendors crowding the state line. I guess you could call Johnson County, Tennessee, “The Fireworks Capital of the World.”
