For a moment, I thought the artist was painting right under a Devi’s statue inside a temple. Did anyone else think otherwise? I know I am untrained, but to me: This painting looks way better than VanGoghs' I have seen... The Great artist is #Sivabalan garu. 🙏

Ranade, Agarkar, Gokhale and Tilak- all giants of Congress before Gandhi were Chitpavan Brahmins… the same blood that defied Tyrannical-Mughal rule and brought them down to their knees… After Gandhi, Nehru took over, they were marginalised. So much so, after Gandhi’s assassination- there was a Congress-sponsored genocide of Chitpavan Brahmins…. 8000 plus people killed - Men, women and children & lakhs of them displaced and had to change their surnames to hide. Nehru never apologised or acknowledged!!

A daily ritual of grace. In most South Indian homes, we apply haldi &kumkum at the doorstep, draw rangoli at the entrance, not just tradition but a warm welcome for prosperity, positivity & divinity. Haldi purifies, kumkum energizes and rangoli invites Maa Lakshmi into our homes.

#Kanuma, third day of Pongal in Telugu regions, signifies gratitude to Nature and Cattle, our silent sustainers... A Brahmin chanting Go Suktam/ #GauSukta, which is a Vedic prayer from the Rigveda that praises the cow as sacred and life-giving. It is recited to seek health, prosperity, protection and positive energy, especially during rituals like Gou Puja! Pure Divine ❤️

Aishwarya and Soundarya, the great-granddaughters of #MSSubbulakshmi, beautifully carry forward her legacy with a soulful rendition of Adi Shankaracharya’s first composition — the #KanakadharaStotram. It’s one of my favourites and I listen to it every single day. 🙏

We just finished our #Satyanarayana Puja at a nearby temple, where I saw these two young boys also participating in the Puja. They are the sons of the Pandit Ji, 12-year-old Neelakantheshwara Sharma and 10-year-old Ramlingeshwara Sharma. I asked them if they go to school and when they learn the Vedas. They said they attend school and learn Vedic mantras from their father in the evenings. Both have undergone their Upanayanam and perform Sandhya Vandanam twice a day. I requested them to chant some Vedic mantras, and they recited the last stanza of #Mantrapushpam. This profound mantra is derived from the Taittiriya Aranyaka of the #YajurVeda. I was deeply impressed by these boys. We should encourage children like them and others to learn and preserve such traditions. It was truly inspiring to see their dedication. #Brahmin #brahmingenes #Veda

Pure bhakti! ❤️ For more than 25 years, 80-year-old Raji amma has devoted her life to bhagwan Venkateswara. Living in the temple premises, she does her seva with full shraddha and samarpan. Every day, she rings the 250 kg bell for 15 minutes, three times during the rituals, with pure faith that keeps her going. Isn’t this itself Bhagwan’s kripa? 🙏

Your storytelling feels divine and truly connects us to Bhagwan Vinay L Varanasi. You have explained it so well...without sadhana, there is no Vijayam and #Vijayadashami is the phalam of #Navaratri Sadhana. Thank you for sharing this so beautifully. Blessed to be connected with you. May Ammavaru bless you with all the happiness, good health and prosperity. 🙏

It’s believed that Hanuman is present wherever bhajans are sung in praise of Bhagavan Rama... such is his deep bhakti & prem for bhagwan... Truly touching!! ❤️🙏 This scene is from the Telugu movie Tyagayya (1946), a biopic on the great Carnatic saint-composer #Tyagaraja, made by legendary actor Chittor V. Nagaiah garu.
