The Labour whip was removed from me within minutes of voting with my conscience to scrap the two-child limit. More than a year later, I’ve not had it restored, yet Peter Mandelson retains it. My intervention at today’s emergency debate:

Palantir won a £240,000,000 Government contract in December without tender. The Government say all procurement rules had been followed but the British public want full transparency:

One of the hunger strikers, Qessar Zuhrah was only transferred to hospital this afternoon, after her health rapidly deteriorated yesterday. Lives are at immediate risk and the Justice Secretary needs to intervene and act, now!

I am receiving Islamophobic abuse and death threats. During Islamophobia Awareness month, it’s important to raise awareness of Islamophobia in society.

We demand urgent intervention from the Justice Secretary to protect the lives of all those on hunger strike.

We will not let Muslims, migrants and minority communities continue to be targeted.

There must be unconditional and immediate recognition of the State of Palestine.

I’m proud of the campaign I ran despite the situation I faced, but where has it been reported in the media? It’s not like the safety of MPs hasn’t been of public interest or newsworthy. Yet with me, there evokes a deadly silence &amp; women’s experiences are treated so differently.

End ALL arms sales to Israel now.

Defensive or offensive military action is still military action. As I said when the news emerged of Iran being attacked weeks ago, any involvement of the UK in Iran, must be decided through votes in Parliament:

When the Tories were in power, I used my voice to call out their scapegoating and scaremongering of migrants. With Reform sweeping the local elections, I will keep using my voice to stand up for migrant rights — just as my constituents re-elected me to do.
