#Varanasi will most likely wrap shooting by the 2nd or 3rd week of October. Just like #RRR (wrapped ~4 months before release) #Baahubali2 (~3 months before release), this should leave around 5.5 months before release for post-production and promotions. The biggest action spectacles have already been shot, with VFX work progressing simultaneously. Varanasi is set to release on April 7, 2027 in TRUE IMAX. 😍🙌 As you can see, SSR has already given #Varanasi merchandise to French fans with the release date printed on it.😉

Namit Malhotra wants to show the world what they've already seen many times. S.S. Rajamouli wants to show the world something they've never seen before. That's the difference in their vision. That's the difference between India's biggest director, who wants to take on the world, and a producer who wants to showcase things the world has already seen. These aren't my words,he himself said he's making a film like The Lord of the Rings and Gladiator. For example, one of the creatures in #Ramayana looks like the Hulk. Why would international audiences be impressed by that? They've already seen the Hulk many times. If you're showing them cheap version of it, why would they choose to watch your film? Tell me honestly, where did you find a single goosebumps moment in the Ramayana trailer? I couldn't find one. Even the action sequences felt like typical Bollywood action rather than something truly fresh or never seen before. That's why #Varanasi is India's biggest movie by miles. Rajamouli has already said they're creating something the world has never seen before, and if his track record is anything to go by, he'll deliver on April 7, 2027.
