Mission VA268: Ariane 6 has reached the launch pad. At Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, the central core of Ariane 6 for mission VA268 has been transferred from the Launcher Integration Building (BAL) to the launch pad. Once in front of the mobile gantry, the stage was raised to a vertical position, a key milestone in the launcher assembly process. This operation initiates the final assembly phase on the pad, where Ariane 64, the most powerful version of Ariane 6, will progressively come together. Scheduled for April 28, 2026, mission VA268 will place 32 Amazon Leo satellites into low Earth orbit, demonstrating once again Ariane 6’s capability to support large-scale constellation deployments. The campaign is underway. #LaunchingAmbitions Amazon Leo ArianeGroup European Space Agency CNES Centre spatial guyanais

Launching Ambitions. Space is not defined by a single mission. It is shaped by a diversity of ambitions, to connect, to navigate, to observe and to protect. Each mission comes with its own objectives, its own constraints, its own destination. With Ariane 6, Arianespace is designed to meet this diversity with flexibility and performance. From deploying constellations like Amazon Leo in low Earth orbit, enabling navigation with Galileo, observing our planet with Sentinel-1D, to supporting defense missions like CSO-3. Ariane 6 adapts to a wide range of missions, customers and orbital requirements. Because access to space is not one-size-fits-all. It is about enabling every mission, every ambition. #LaunchingAmbitions Amazon Leo ArianeGroup European Space Agency CNES 🇪🇺 EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme Centre spatial guyanais OHB Copernicus EU European Commission ESA Earth Observation Direction générale de l'armement 🇫🇷 Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace Ministère des Armées et des Anciens combattants

Mission VA268: Ariane 64 is gaining strength. At Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana, the four solid rocket boosters for mission VA268 have been transferred to the pad, joining the central core of Ariane 6 arrived yesterday. This milestone marks the progressive assembly of Ariane 64, the most powerful configuration of Ariane 6. Once integrated, these boosters will provide the thrust required at liftoff, enabling Ariane 64 to deliver 32 Amazon Leo satellites into low Earth orbit. Scheduled for April 28, 2026, mission VA268 is the second Ariane 6 mission dedicated to the deployment of the Amazon Leo constellation. All eyes are now on the next steps toward liftoff. #LaunchingAmbitions Amazon Leo ArianeGroup European Space Agency CNES Centre spatial guyanais

🚀 🚀 March 23rd, 2012 - 14 years ago today. Ariane 5 lifted off with ATV-3 Edoardo Amaldi on its way to the International Space Station. Reaching the ISS required more than just getting to orbit. To meet the station days later at a precise time and location, the spacecraft needed to begin its journey with extremely precise orbital parameters. This level of accuracy is achieved during the launch phase, when the launcher places the spacecraft on the exact trajectory required for the mission. Named after Italian physicist Edoardo Amaldi, ATV-3 was one of Europe’s most advanced space logistics spacecraft, delivering cargo, propellant and supplies to astronauts aboard the station. For missions like ATV, the success of the rendezvous begins at launch. #LaunchingAmbitions
