"Damn it." "What?" "The zipper's stuck." Footsteps sounded, and the curtain pulled back. "There's a salesperson two feet away." Caleb looked at Arian, alarmed. "Let him." "Arian!" "Stay still." He stepped closer than the zipper required. Close enough that Caleb forgot what he'd meant to say next. "Are you enjoying this?" "Absolutely." His fingers found the zipper, drew it down slowly, slowly. "There." "Thanks. You can go now." Arian didn't move. "In this life, everything has a price." "What—" His hand landed on the small of Caleb's back, pulling him in so sharply the breath left him before the kiss did. Arian kissed him without asking permission, knowing he didn't need it. Caleb gripped the lapels of his jacket, because his knees had decided to give out right at that moment. The bell chimed at the front of the store. Neither of them pulled away. Only after a few seconds did Caleb find the strength to break the kiss, breathing hard. "This is your fault." "I know."
