I wonder what Squidward's original line here was, because the lip sync doesn't match the dialogue AT ALL lol

SpongeBob in the backrooms also

Cut dialogue from the "Missing Identity" animatic, taken from the Sponge For Hire DVD.

Love Mr. Seaweed Monster Man's brief 'HEY!' He is a man of few words

I love how the Flying Dutchman is randomly a master at tying knots for seemingly no reason. He just appears out of nowhere in the episode

This can be seen even in SpongeBob, still animated on paper. ESPECIALLY when comparing bits that are similar to older episodes. It's an epidemic! And of course, the drawings are great. But great animation as well would only elevate them further

Check out the difference in these two pretty similar scenes! All those amazing and interesting angles and drawings in the first scene. Future is so stiff in comparison, and the 'cinematography' is much less compelling.

SpongeBob and Patrick are D1 ragebaiters

And yes, they play the song! Here's a little bit of it. So surreal hearing 2006 SpongeBob's voice with new animation!

So many funny deliveries by Tom Kenny in this episode!

This joke is so out there even for SpongeBob standards, it always makes me laugh lol

I'm all for fair criticism, but what's the point of saying this? If you don't like the designs just say that, no need to say "the artists hate their jobs" and present such a silly "theory" to 22K subscribers. It's not an interesting thing to think about...it's totally made up!

I find it interesting that despite SpongeBob being well known for being up-beat and positive, he's very easily upset or sent into a spiral.

Have you ever seen 'Pineapple Playhouse?' A few years ago, a series of videos were posted where bits of episodes are remade with puppets!

Did you know that Patrick's famous "leedle leedle" from Shanghaied was improvised by Bill Fagerbakke? Here is some of that studio session, featuring Stephen Hillenburg directing!

Love how brutal this gag is

Never noticed that Squidward has a mirror overtop his bed lol

The show hasn't been the same since SpongeBob got replaced by Marlin Branzino...

Love seeing Mr. Krabs be more casual with Squidward and SpongeBob briefly before the story of the episode ramps up

Love the abrupt cut in audio after "my very own name tag" and him just sitting silently at the table, very YTP-esque lol

Really liked "Night School Knuckleheads," one of tonight's new episodes. Very funny throughout, and I liked the world building that Bikini Bottom has a night school where characters teach/attend.

Did you know that SpongeBob and Tom Kenny were the real pilots of US Airways Flight 1549?

Tom Kenny and Bill Fagerbakke recreating SB-129 for the season 1 box set!

Love the rapid-fire gags in this short

Love the voice Tom Kenny puts on to match the weird drawing
