The shift became so obvious when Orm mentioned that a lot of people & even her co-actors were hitting on her, and when she talked about that girl she had a crush on back in high school. After that, Lingling started to become noticeably bolder. Not long after, we got that unforgettable kiss on national TV. From being awkward with Orm’s touch and unsure how to respond, Lingling turned into the clingiest one 😭 From saying, “She has a lot of opportunities to meet new people,” to confidently declaring, “Orm already has everything. What she might need is someone by her side and that someone is ME.” There’s honestly so much more to mention, but watching their growth has been such a joy. One of my favorite moments was when Lingling was asked, “What kind of person makes your heart flutter?” and she described Orm, someone good looking, tall, fair-skinned, and her safe zone. The biggest shift definitely came from Ling, while Orm? Well, she got even clingier and completely has that older woman wrapped around her finger 😭 The fact that during interviews it’s Lingling who slipped most of the time and Orm just gotta change the topic or whatever 😭

The words “safe zone” and “fair skin” gave it away, Lingling always says Orm is her safe zone (and so far, it’s only been Orm), plus Orm’s fair skin just confirms it, which is why fans are sure it’s her. Also, during this era, Ling was very clingy, like this was part of the shift

For Solo stans‼️ (Orm) You don’t have to like her, but don’t hurt her. Don’t make her feel invisible. Don’t make her feel unloved. The number of times Orm has been ignored and disrespected is heartbreaking. I still remember when she struggled to understand Chinese during some events, when things weren’t translated and she just stood there, confused, trying to keep smiling. That lost look on her face? It haunts me. She’s done nothing but show love, support, and pure warmth to the people around her. She’s bubbly, energetic, and always trying to lift the mood. She gives so much of herself, and yet some people can’t even give her basic decency in return. It hurts. It genuinely hurts to see someone so kind be treated like they’re a background character in their own story. She deserves better. We see her. We love her. And we’ll always stand by her. That’s not helping anyone, not Ling, not Orm, not the fandom. At the end of the day, they have each other. Through the noise, the hate, the chaos, they still look out for one another, support one another, and walk forward together. And we, the ones who truly love them both, will keep standing by them with the same unity. That’s the truth you have to swallow.
