Is this why Adam Back doesn’t like Knots? One of Blockstream’s Lead Developers Rusty Russell’s says that Satoshi ripped out “weird stuff” from Bitcoin (the stuff that would make it more programmable) and now Bitcoin is a “hobbled language that doesn’t quite make sense” “..and now for years we never really noticed because people were, like, just sending money and stuff💁🏼♀️ but increasingly people are feeling these limits… so let’s clean things up… cool now we’ve got a clean system back again that is fully complete” Does he remind of you anyone?
