Hot take: too much content can hurt a game just as much as too little. Crimson Desert is one of the most beautiful worlds I’ve ever seen, but I’ve hit a wall. Finishing it feels like work, not fun. I’m done forcing it. Has a game ever lost you by giving you too much to do?

Modern games would just slap another icon on the HUD. King Kong (2005) did it better. Press a button and Jack literally tells you how much ammo he has left. No counter. No clutter. Just immersion. We need more design like this.

DLSS 5 is running in older games now, so naturally I had to see just how badly it could butcher my beloved Dark Souls III. 💀

Found the first game I’d actually leave DLSS 5 on: Starfield. With the right game, this tech is actually insane. With the wrong one, it can look like overprocessed AI slop.

This is why PC emulation rules 🔥 inFAMOUS at 4K and 60 FPS on RPCS3 looks and plays better than it ever did on the original PS3. Emulation is the ultimate form of game preservation.

China just keeps COOKING with these games. HoYoverse just revealed Nodus Fall, a new co-op action game where you play as a Weaver in a world where divine authority has crumbled, teaming up to take down mythic beings. No release date or platforms yet. I’m definitely interested.
