The Group1 aspirants of Telangana have been tirelessly fighting against the unconstitutional #GO29, which violates the Rule of Reservation and marginalizes underprivileged communities, for the past eight months. In a bold move to garner national attention, the Group1 aspirants have now reached Delhi to present their grievances to the national media and key political figures. The Congress government in Telangana Telangana Congress is deliberately engaging in diversion tactics to shift focus from the alleged irregularities in the Group1 recruitment process. These issues include: 1. The Group1 exam scam 2. Loopholes in the examination process 3. Unfair evaluation of the Group1 Mains papers 4. Discrimination against Telugu-medium candidates 5. Suppression of the GO29 controversy In light of these concerns, the aspirants are seeking an appointment with senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi ji to present evidence of the injustices in the recruitment process and highlight the Telangana Public Service Commission's (TGPSC) alleged compromises in conducting the Group1 exams. Demands of the Group1 Aspirants: 1. Immediate replacement of GO29 with GO55 – ensuring fair opportunities for marginalized communities. 2. A CBI inquiry into the current Group1 examination – to expose any malpractices and corruption. 3. Entrusting the entire Group1 recruitment process to UPSC – to ensure a transparent and fair examination process. The aspirants are calling upon all political parties, national print and electronic media, public representatives, intellectuals and student union leaders to stand in solidarity with their movement. Their fight is not just for themselves but for the integrity of the recruitment process in Telangana, ensuring that opportunities are provided based on merit and fairness.
