This is pure tribal Kurdish culture with no heavy Islamic influence and zero Turkish influence. Men and women dance together, wearing traditional Kurdish clothing and the wedding lasts for 3 days. Kurdish weddings traditionally lasted 3 days but this custom is slowly fading. The Goyan tribe remains very traditional in this regard. Badinan Kurds keep the authentic Kurmanj culture alive.
