Metadata - send backend data to the UI 2. Subagents - expose delegated agent work 3. Interrupts + resumption 3. Run outcomes and token usage 4. Forward compatibility Capabilities that have been part of AG-UI (streaming, tool calls, shared state, reasoning etc) are still covered.
