In Japan, a pregnant Muslim woman went to 7 different hospitals because she refused to be examined by a male doctor. Her husband said Islam does not allow it. The Japanese doctor asked a simple question: “What will you do if labor starts at night and only male doctors are available?” If you restrict girls’ education, you also have to consider the consequences when there aren’t enough female doctors to meet such demands.
