Even one of the finest tajwīd shaykh forgot a well-known verse from a famous sūrah while leading ṣalāh in Masjid an-Nabawi. This reminds us that even great imāms & reciters can forget or make simple mistakes. You learn every day, & you can forget at any time bcz you are human.
