i don't think i'll ever be able to put into words what my time in NHB meant to me. i walked into NHB volume 5 in august of 2020 against john wayne murdoch with no idea how much it would change my life. over the years that place helped shape me into the wrestler and person i am today. it's still surreal that the journey came to standing across the ring from my own brother in the united kingdom at NHB volume 71 with the american deathmatch world championship on the line. this video was filmed immediately after that match. i spent the night in a hospital being stitched back together without any numbing before catching a flight home the next night. i was exhausted, broken down and just wrestled in a deathmatch against otis fucking cogar.. but i still knew how i felt about NHB. i won't be at NHB 100 because i'm a successful defending GCW WOLRD CHAMPION and i will be defending it against devon monroe in minneapolis but to everyone involved with NHB 100, remember what it took to get here. remember the blood YOU shed and the people who gave pieces of themselves so this milestone could exist. congratulations. good luck 🤝🏻 #NHB100
