THE LEARNED ATTORNEY GENERAL CONCEDES THAT THE LATE KING OYO'S WILL IS INAPPLICABLE IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES:- I earlier opined that the Learned Attorney General's legal opinion though made by a Government Department is just a legal opinion like any other and this means that it can anytime change and it maybe taken or rejected because it can sometimes be made in error of both law and fact! Here in this clip, the Learned AG has conceded that the Late King Oyo's WILL is not applicable and that therefore there's no dispute as to who should be the next King of Tooro. The Learned AG has conceded that the King chosen by the Babiito is now the rightful King of Tooro. You now can therefore disregard the AG's earlier legal opinion about the installation of Tooro's King. I hope you now appreciate the weight that should be attached to the AG's legal opinion. The GENZs who were illegally arrested and detained for protesting against corruption in Parliament deserve an apology and possibly compensation. How could genuine whistleblowers be arrested and charged as criminals? Shame upon AAA and her corroborators who selfishly malaigned the GENZs and caused their illegal arrest and detention. The GENZs have been vindicated! The alleged sums in the charge sheets underscore the scale of the case: 1. Chris Obore (Communications) – UGX 5.253bn 2. Adilo Daniel (Human Resource) – UGX 14.609bn 3.Okema Leonard (Executive Secretary, Speaker’s Office) – UGX 3.489bn 4.Rajab Kaaya Ssemalulu (Principal Research Officer) – UGX 2.170bn 5.Otebata Vincent (Capacity Development Officer) – UGX 5.253bn. ![Dear Lawyers Uganda Law Society Law Students Association of East Africa Your potential clients [suspects of corruption, embezzlement and abuse of office] are being misadvised to make confessions on Camera due to fear of potential arrest, imprisonment and interdiction. [The suspect in this video is definitely in big trouble]! These suspects need to be advised that the Ministers do not have legal mandate to forgive crimes, it's a trap. They need to know that if you admit commission of a crime you must be ready to face the law and answer accordingly. Therefore confessions and admissions shouldn't be as a result of intimidation or fear of arrest, imprisonment and interdiction BUT out of conviction to say the truth and admit guilt.
