The three astronauts of the Shenzhou-21 crewed mission have all exited the return capsule safely and are in excellent physical condition! After an epic seven-month space journey, China’s Shenzhou-21 crew is finally back home！ Touching down at the Dongfeng landing site in Inner Mongolia at 20:11 Beijing Time on May 29, the return capsule carried three astronauts — Zhang Lu, Wu Fei and Zhang Hongzhang — to a precise and successful landing. Having stayed in orbit for 210 days, the crew has set a new record for the longest single-mission in-orbit duration by a Chinese astronaut team. Composed of post-70s, post-80s and post-90s astronauts, the outstanding team completed all scheduled space experiments！ Mission accomplished, heroes return. Welcome home, Shenzhou-21 crew! Proud of every shining step of Chinese aerospace!

Warm moments at the police station: Two little kids stopped by the station because no one was home to look after them. The officers welcomed them in, prepared meals, and found them a place to rest and read. After eating, the thoughtful children insisted on helping tidy the desks and sweep the floor, telling the officers, “You fed us, so we should help too.” In China, many children grow up hearing the same advice from their parents: if you ever need help, go find a police officer. For these officers, looking after the kids for an afternoon seemed like the most natural thing. And for the children, helping out afterward simply felt right.

Never thought I’d run into angry Hector Salamanca right here in Shenzhen’s Eye of the GBA, the largest bookstore complex on earth! Found him in a 3D printing store, where everything from shoes to wild designs is printed on demand – yes, even lasers carving intricate patterns in seconds! Shopping in Shenzhen is never boring… I skip the clothes racks and go straight for 3D shoes. If you want a pair, just print them!

In Jingdezhen, an eastern Chinese city with over 1,700 years of ceramic-making history, artisans paint on the inner surface of cups. And what looks like a stamped seal is in fact painted entirely by hand. Hard to believe… until you see it. credit to 飞花千月(bilibili)

Still in Shenzhen, spent the afternoon at the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, starving after all the walking… and then I stumbled upon this! Think this is a gourmet feast? I saw a glimpse of the robots at the ongoing International Cultural Industries Fair in Shenzhen — playing piano, competing at chess, dancing, boxing, playing ping-pong, and even brewing fresh coffee. Yet these entertaining performances are only a small fraction of what they can do. Robots are everywhere in Shenzhen — patrolling subway stations, serving popcorn in cinemas, moving materials on production lines, even folding laundry in eldercare. A robust industry powers such widespread adoption: over 1,000 core robotics companies, a 200 billion RMB industrial chain, and nearly all components available locally — half within 10 km, 80% within 40 km. Shenzhen even hosts the world’s first robot 6S stores. From production lines to culture fairs, robots have quietly woven into daily life — yet seeing them perform live, with creativity and charm, still amazes.

Humanoid robot “Flash” just sprinted across the finish line. At the 2026 Beijing E-Town Half Marathon today! It clocked 50:26, faster than the human world record of 57:20! The robot was developed by Honor, best known for its smartphones and based in Shenzhen, China’s Silicon Valley. The progress in just one year is striking: In the inaugural 2025 race, the winning robot finished nearly 2 hours slower, and only 6 out of 20 teams completed the course. This year, more than 100 teams joined — including participants from Germany, France, and Brazil — with robots showing major improvements in speed and stability

At the ongoing 2026 Beijing Auto Show — the world’s largest auto show, I met a very special Belgian fan, Marnix! He’s been following Chinese EV brands since 2019, bought his first Chinese car in 2022, then upgraded to a second one. This time, he flew all the way from Belgium to Beijing, just to volunteer at the NIO stand and show foreign visitors why Chinese EVs are amazing. Beyond NIO, brands like BYD, XPeng, Li Auto, Geely and Chery are all turning heads throughout the venue. This year’s show has set a new global record for scale, spanning 380,000 square meters across two venues, with 1,451 vehicles on display — including 181 premieres and 71 concept cars.

At this year’s Canton Fair, this 12-year-old girl became an unexpected highlight.
