It has now been 12 months since I began my posting as Australia’s Ambassador to the UAE and it has been a tremendous experience. Our team is thrilled with all that we have achieved so far with our Emirati partners, including the negotiation and signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. We are looking forward to taking the bilateral relationship to new heights as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Australia’s diplomatic relationship with the UAE in 2025.
