Shocking 🚨 Incident of violence against doctors in PGI Trauma Centre, Rohtak, Haryana A youth was admitted after being injured. Instead of allowing treatment, around 15 to 20 attendants of the patient barged into the Trauma Centre, argued with the doctors and then started pushing them and vandalising the area. Medical supplies on the doctor’s table were thrown around. Doctors had to leave the treatment area and call the police. Now tell me, what exactly are doctors supposed to do? Are they supposed to treat patients or fight angry attendants? Are they supposed to save lives or save themselves? Why are hospitals turning into a crime scene? Why do attendants feel entitled to assault doctors and walk away? Why is there zero fear of law?

Delhi Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh (a dentist by qualification) made a surprise visit to Jafarpur Kalan Hospital in Najafgarh and got angry after finding a faulty pulse oximeter in the casualty ward. He shouted at the casualty incharge and doctors, asking if this was a joke, and blamed them for negligence as a patient’s condition had worsened. But isn’t it the government’s job to make sure hospitals have working equipment? If basic stuff like oximeters aren’t functioning, that’s not always the staff’s fault. Before scolding doctors in public, these politicians should fix the broken instruments in government hospitals. Why are doctors blamed for faulty instruments?

Is it for real? These video shows that some people on telegram already had NEET UG question paper before May 5. If it is real then NEET should be re-conducted. National Testing Agency must give some clarification regarding this. #NEET #NEETUG #NEETUG2024 #Neetresults

‼️ Another case of su!c!de by MBBS student ‼️ Pooja Rajani, a 20-year-old second-year MBBS student, tragically committed suicide today by jumping from the terrace of JNMC College, Wardha. She fell right in front of the Dean's office after being denied medical leave. Her lack of attendance led to her detention from the PCT2 exam, and she had previously missed the PCT1 exam as well. Pooja was suffering from depression due to these academic pressures, a condition that was well-documented medically. Disturbingly, there are rumors that the Dean dismissed her depression as fake, calling it a trend. Before taking her life, Pooja sent an "I quit" snap. It's heartbreaking to note that she was a gold medalist in her first year. This situation is incredibly frustrating and concerning. How could a talented student, already battling depression, be pushed to such an extreme? The lack of support and understanding from the administration, especially the Dean's dismissive attitude, is shocking. This tragic incident highlights the urgent need for better mental health support and empathy in academic institutions. You can’t even think what her parents must be going through. This toxicity in medical colleges is taking lives of many young students. Really sad. Om shanti.

As a medical student or doctor, would you genuinely encourage today’s generation to pursue a career in medicine?

SP MP Rajeev Rai got into a heated argument with a doctor at the hospital, and now the CMO has taken action. Honestly, politicians need to stop interfering with doctors doing their jobs. The doctor had every right to stand up and say, “Netagiri bahar jaake karo.” Hospital isn’t the place for political intimidation, and this kind of behavior just disrupts patient care. Let doctors do what they’re trained to do—help people, not deal with power plays. #MEDTwitter

Sunil didn’t commit suicide. It was a pre-planned murder by toxic professors. A final-year MBBS student, Sunil Bairwa, was found hanging in his hostel room at Kota Medical College, Rajasthan, on March 6, 2025. His death is not just another case of student suicide. It is a direct result of systematic harassment by the college administration that broke him mentally. Sunil’s father revealed the relentless struggles his son faced. After clearing NEET, Sunil joined Kota Medical College in 2019-20. In his first exam, the college administration failed him, forcing his family to file a case. When the results were re-evaluated 7-8 months later, he was declared passed. In his third year, he was caught cheating, leading to the cancellation of two exams. Since then, he had been out of college for 1.5 years. Recently, when he tried to discuss his academic issues, the administration harassed him again. Soon after, he was found dead. A suicide note was recovered, where Sunil apologized to his parents for not meeting their expectations. But let’s be clear, he wasn’t weak. He wasn’t a failure. He was systematically broken down by an institution that should have supported him. Toxic professors and a ruthless system killed him. Why are medical colleges still run like mental torture chambers? Why is failing a student seen as a power move instead of a failure of the teaching system? Why are professors more interested in punishing students than in helping them learn? How many more students have to die before we start holding these toxic educators accountable?
