I got married the day Jack Grealish signed for Man City… Halfway through the day this message popped up on my phone… honestly would have wanted it from John regardless! My favourite player ever since he flew into that first tackle against Wigan on his debut. To see him grow with the club since then has been an absolute pleasure. Not sure we’ll see his like at our club for the rest of my lifetime and if we do we’ll be incredibly fortunate. The biggest compliment I could give him is that, when I was young and dreamed of being a footballer… if there was a career I’d have dreamed of and a kind of player I’d want to be… it’d be John McGinn. Now go get that trophy! What a player. What a man. UTV #AVFC

“I think Emery might walk” No… you’re not thinking… you’re HOPING You know exactly how dangerous Emery is and you’re desperate to see him walk away so you’ll keep trying to talk a fantasy into reality But this assumption that regulations will make Unai Emery tuck tail and leave simply betrays a gross misunderstanding of the man himself… Unai isn’t a man who follows the latest industry-plant bubblegum popstar… Unai is a child of rebellious punk… bands like Eskorbuto - not ones to cow in the face of glass ceilings and regulations, but disruptors of the establishment who look to break them You want to cage this man? All you’ll do is fan the flames Just ask Guillem Balague 👀
