Another line, “Jayalalitha has used the Chief Minister’s position for her selfish interests and extravagant displays. If she is allowed to remain in power, even God cannot save Tamil Nadu’s people,” sparked whispers: a political blow delivered with unprecedented clarity. On politics, he noted, “If I enter politics now, it will create confusion. Only time will decide. I’m thinking about how to serve Tamil Nadu’s people without entering politics.” Reporters speculated he was waiting for the release of Muthu that Deepavali, with an auspicious alignment marking the perfect moment. He advised party workers, “Continue your work within your parties,” hinting at a future political role. Addressing the Chief Minister, he warned, “Don’t surround yourself with sycophants; keep good advisors instead,” a subtle critique of ministers who had criticized him. By the end, he had smoked six cigarettes.
