Shorts

truly think y'all are dragging it with the animation but - that choppy look is the result of primarily animating on 3s (while most shows are on 2s) - streaming ruined everything for cartoons. cable was more profitable, less $ goes in now - less shows are animated on paper

timeline full of shitty takes over the avatar movie leaks, some tadc fans running the "glitch isn't indie" gimmick and people still saying invincible has only 4 animators taxes are due on wednesday and the wendy's menu on doordash switched from breakfast to lunch before 10:30

The decision to make Trump the new Saddam is a layered one. There’s the easy takeaway of our president being a dictator, but bringing back Satan and separating Trump from Garrison are two moves that continues the trend of newer seasons emulating the early days of the show

Homelander was more threatening and had a way more interesting dynamic with The Seven when the show's stakes wasn't relying solely on the idea that he could snap at any second.

If there’s one thing keeping my hope alive for The Boys finale, it’s the music for when Homelander finally snaps. It sounds fucking insane, almost like Superman meets Jaws. Really hope the script and visuals measure up, because it sounds like the world is ending lmfao

shoutout to OK KO for being cute and silly even when shit hit the fan. you have some compelling stuff with KO trying to connect with his dad, who's only interested in dragging KO down with him. but the whole time you gotta call this man's alter ego "shadowy figure" lmfao
