Ok this is SO COOL 🤯🤯🤯 I just made an AI agent that calls restaurants to make reservations for me. How it works: 1. You punch in the name of the restaurant and desired time and number of guests. 2. It calls the restaurant (in an incredibly real sounding voice) and makes the reservation. 3. If they don't have the time available, it texts you some alternate times (and can call back to make them). If they do, it books it and puts it on your calendar. If they ask, it can even provide allergies and other details, and it's powered by Claude so it can handle pretty much any line of conversation. It's also trained to tell the person it's my AI assistant if they ask or get weirded out by the voice. See attached video and photo. I built it using Lindy. Image 1: my prompt to Lindy Video: Call that resulted Image 2: My calendar 30 seconds later So useful. Took me about 10 minutes to put it all together.

Imagine if you could map out your product roadmap 3 months out...and then have AI complete it for you in 3 days. Or pipe all your sentry + bug reports from support to automatically get solved. Super impressed with Cyrus, Ceedar's new Linear agent for Claude Code:

For years, I've struggled to journal. Most people I know do. It's hard to just sit there with a blinking cursor and barf out your thoughts accurately every day. But my friend Charlie Grinnell (Charlie Grinnell 🔎) has cracked the code. He's built an amazing workflow that allows him to build a huge database of his thoughts and feelings using Reflect + OpenAI, and even crafted his own AI therapist that he uses to work through problems at work and in his personal life. We break down how he built this, and many other nerdy things, in this week's podcast. This one is for the nerds. If you're into workflows, this is your jam. Here's some key insights: • AI's biggest impact may be personal productivity, not job displacement • Charlie's innovative journaling system using voice memos and randomized prompts • How to build a "second brain" by connecting notes, highlights, and AI • Using AI to chat with your past self and apply lessons from books you've read • The power of specific prompts to get better results from AI tools Charlie's approach shows how intentional systems can unlock creativity and learning. The future of productivity looks bright - imagine an AI assistant that can: • Manage your digital life seamlessly • Synthesize information across all your tools • Help you take action on ideas and insights Topics 00:00 - Intro 00:33 - Getting to Know Charlie 03:17 - Charlie’s Typical Day 05:15 - Charlie’s Journaling Routine 11:56 - Charlie’s Library of Journaling Questions 13:48 - Facilitating Deep Work 15:39 - Dealing With Low Priority Tasks 20:09 - Avoiding Distraction While in Deep Work 21:19 - Time spent in Deep Work 21:47 - Charlie’s Favorite Type of Deep Work 23:19 - Meeting Recordings, Transcripts, & CRMs 26:48 - Charlie’s System for Reading 31:35 - Keeping Track of Interesting Podcast Tidbits 34:22 - Dealing With AI’s Recency Bias 35:57 - How Charlie Keeps Consistent With His System 38:11 - What Drives Charlie to Create Systems 42:18 - Broken Parts of Charlie’s System 44:00 - What Charlie’s Looking Forward to With AI 45:55 - Other Interesting Ways Charlie Uses AI 49:30 - Products Charlie Really Loves

Most influencers promote mediocre products that they didn’t make or don’t have any ownership of. It’s a mistake because: 1. It dilutes their brand / audience trust 2. They capture so little of the upside (one time advertising/affiliate revenue) My friend and fellow Canadian Derek (More Plates More Dates) from More Plates More Dates did the opposite. He went from being a Vancouver bouncer to building a 9-figure empire of insanely high quality and obsessively formulated supplements, telemedicine, and men’s care products. I use many of them myself. His entrepreneurial journey started with a punch in the face—literally. It's a fun story, and I recently interviewed him about it for my podcast. In this episode, we talk about: 00:00 From Bouncer to Blogger 00:42 Daily Routine and Night Owl Lifestyle 03:18 Building a Business Empire 05:54 The Journey to Success 13:41 Transparency in the Fitness Industry 38:35 Navigating Fame and Public Perception 41:45 The Double-Edged Sword of Fame 42:38 Managing Wealth and Business Strategies 45:28 The Challenges of Product Development 47:19 Exploring Digital Products and Content Creation 49:39 Personal Enjoyment and Financial Management 52:25 Investment Strategies and Wealth Management 59:37 Productivity Hacks and Tools 59:51 Book and Product Recommendations 01:04:14 Sleep Optimization Enjoy!
