Raylan is a German Shepherd mix who was once almost euthanized. Luckily, he was adopted by Laura Tindal and became a very special “foster dad” to hundreds of kittens. For over 10 years, Raylan has cared for more than 200 kittens just like a real mother cat would: carrying them gently in his mouth to move them around (exactly like how mother cats carry their babies), licking them clean, playing with them, acting as a jungle gym, and keeping them warm while they sleep. Despite his large size, Raylan is incredibly gentle and has never once injured any of the kittens. The kittens think being carried in his mouth is completely normal and actually love it. Thanks to Raylan’s love and care, hundreds of fragile kittens have enjoyed a happy, loving childhood before finding their forever homes. This is one of the most beautiful stories of friendship between dogs and cats! ❤️🐶🐱
