What stood out at the Dubai Future Forum is that the government is preparing for possible futures while still setting specific timeframes for delivery as close as one year from now. His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul, the CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, asked two specific questions: (1) What will change when I see you again next year? With a huge countdown already started. (2) What will you have changed when I see you again? Very frequently, when I’m at UAE government events, I find myself triggered to think about my own life and my own business.
