The house tested what I stood for Charity and reason seemed too small. Felt like I had to do something more. Like who I am wasn’t enough, and soon I’ll have to make it for the door. But OYIN was an angel sent from God. She reset my anger with just one line. “Be yourself, and you’ll have your own people.” Guess God’s gift comes in different modules.. God put me up, and gravity doesn’t apply. I remember everything from the first time, even though it is now the past and has flown by. Yes, we surely had a blast. We are like family, you and I. May nothing classify the memories we’ve had, like Abi in the kitchen trying to make the counter fit. Everything was original, no counterfeits. RIP to the things we couldn’t be, I know our intentions are better than what they can see. Maybe one day we can return to be. It’s okay, moving on, says the woman who doesn’t count defeat.
