This is Bruiser the stray cat sitting patiently outside waiting for dinner. This is what I see every night. I’m slow blinking at him. Watch it closely and you’ll catch his slow blink back to me! That’s HUGE! I think he’s warming up to me!! I so love this cat.

A feral cat can learn to trust humans, it just takes a long time. This is 16 months into the journey with Bruiser, a feral cat who wouldn’t even be in the yard with me when we first met. He was violent. Scary. But love and patience taught him trust.

Wait for it!!!!! Bruiser jumped up to say hi!!!!! Woohooooooooooooo!!!!!! This stray cat wouldn’t come within 20 feet of me at first! This is almost a year later. Still no petting…but this is huge!!!
