It's so great for focused projects, classes, ...anything where you've got a set of materials you need to engage with and think about. It's great on Android: supports drag-and-drop for adding files, shows up in the main Gemini app, and more. And with the new Samsung Flip and Fold devices you get 6 months of Google AI Pro.

Here at #GoogleIO, I got a look at Project Aura from XREAL 👓 , running Android XR. I'm really excited for this one and I will definitely come back and tell you more soon. In the meantime, though, here is a quick look! Also, IO is a dev show! So gotta say that Android apps can run easily on Android XR, and our Catalyst program has tons of resources for devs to try out the latest tech. Apply for Catalyst here:

Miss #SamsungUnpacked today? A lot of cool stuff was announced for the Galaxy S26 series, including a really neat Privacy Display. Google is also bringing some great additions to Circle To Search and new scam detection capabilities. Plus! Sameer Samat got on stage and announced something we're previewing with Android: the ability to have Gemini navigate a limited set of apps directly to get stuff done, like ordering groceries or calling a car. You can watch Gemini get to work on those digital laundry kind of tasks, or let it work in the background as you do other things on your phone. It's built with transparency and control and we're eager to hear your feedback on this preview of what's next for Android.

Lots of great new releases today! The one I've been having the most fun with is Remix in Google Messages. It uses Nano Banana, our Gemini image model, to make it easy to, well, remix images right in the chat. And of course because of RCS you are sending full quality images to everybody in the group chat. Here's a little video about why I'm excited about Material 3 Expressive on Android. It's a thoughtful, fun, and accessible design system that makes it super easy to adapt to your vibe -- and also it's just so smooth and nice to use. It's beautiful without being ostentatious (unless you want it to be, it can do that too 😅 ). Also! newly customizable Quick Settings and lock screen. Also also: the haptics... 😘

The Samsung #GalaxyZTriFold is coming to the US! Back around The Year Two Thousand I was setting up little folding keyboards with a 160x160 monochrome PDA screen and now I'm setting them up with multi-window multi-tasking on a foldable 10-inch screen. We have come a long way :)
