Now that was a surprise standout sequence if I've ever seen one. This small SHAFT-like/Monogatari-esque exposition scene in Uma Musume Cinderella Gray #19 caught me off guard. Very unique creative direction here alongside some kagenashi touches just to underscore the severity.

Surviving Romance animated MV was not on my bingo card for the year 2026 but I'm not complaining! Just wow. Getting PPURI of Link Click fame for the animation is a godsend, the expert boarding/direction nails the series' meta narrative on a microscopic level.

Genuinely in love with this ED, the breathtaking art suffused throughout its empowering song is so romantic Amazing debut for up-and-coming artist RLOEVO! They did a great job.

Dang man I had literal chills

Tooru Iwazawa 岩澤亨 processing Sakazume and Enokido's crazy boards for Fate strange Fake's OP is visually ambitious on a huge scale. Incredibly polished character art and vfx work/layouts. The vibrant art and expedient transitions carry so much residual style.

After almost three years of radio silence since their much beloved Kororon MV (forever rent-free in my head) ligton りく has come out of the woodworks to personally storyboard and direct a new hit from the likes of another popular trending artist: SUISEI HOSHIMACHI

KiseKoi S2 has a bevy of impressive sequences to deliver on the excitement but what really gave me the impression that this show really was actually (and finally) back was the ending. Directing took on a new hue and pinpointed its efforts on Gojo's character arc.

For good and bad this JJK OP is a simmering hotbed of chaotic visual presentation but you have to admit Gosso understood the assignment when it came to tackling the incoherent makeup of the Culling Games. Not to mention the impressive referential nods to contemporary art pieces.

The prospect of Witch Hat Atelier's anime adaptation faithfully encapsulating the extraordinary appeal of Kamome Shirahama's magnificent art is starting to become real with its new PV. Wondrous worldbuilding is actualized through exceedingly broad strokes and awe-striking appeal.

Peak audiovisual experience

Never thought I'd see the day where some fairly competent 2D horse animation was a remote possibility but you never know with Fate/Strange Fake. Further complemented by some really good character drawings, vfx and BG debris, it's an amazing spectacle.

Without a doubt the standout animation powerhouse sequence in UmaMusu CinGray's climax was Dicta Striker's fierce comeback. Yuuta Haruna's 春名雄太 cuts borrowed thoroughly from Takeshi Maenami's prolific work on Road to the Top. You can really feel the latter's influence.

Manly tears were shed it's so peak 🥹

Fantastic VA performance from Reina Ueda. Santa Claus finale felt like the culmination of what this whole season has been building towards and the raw emotionality prevalent in Nene's character arc sums it up so succinctly.

No offense to anyone still enjoying it but SasaKoi barely shows signs of holding itself together. So many visual discrepancies are a clear sign of poorly handled animation work. Even the live band segments and music don't necessarily mesh together well.

Akira's backstory hits way too close to home to an almost realistic extent. I'm sure some of us lived with the same stifling environment where our hobbies of enjoying "anime" and "manga" were unfortunately stigmatized. It's like being suffocated. She was literally ME growing up
